Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Atlanta Funeral — Tyler Perry & More Celebs Attend

Celebrities Bobbi Kristina Funeral
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family and friends gathered to say goodbye to the 22-year-old on Aug. 1 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Ga. Tyler Perry, R&B singer Monica and more were all in attendance at the memorial service held for Bobbi.

It was a very sad moment for Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s family on Aug. 1. They paid their final respects to the late 22-year-old less than week after her death. In addition to Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, 46, her aunt Pat Houston, 55, Cissy Houston, 81, celebs like Tyler Perry, 45, Monica, 34, and more attended to say their goodbyes.

Before the memorial service, Monica, Michael Jai White, 47, and Tyler made their way into the church. The R&B singer sported bright red hair and was dressed in an all-black blazer and pantsuit. The For Better or Worse star looked sharp in a suit.

Tyler was not pictured entering the church, but he had a major presence in the ceremony. He spoke during the ceremony, according to TMZ. He also escorted Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, out of the funeral when she began screaming at Pat.

Bobby, his wife Alicia, Pat and additional members of the Houston family started to arrive at St. James United Methodist Church at 10:15 a.m. Mayor Kasim Reed, 46, arrived at 10:45 a.m. This is just one of two services that are taking place, the other will be Bobbi Kristina’s burial on Aug. 3 at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, where she’ll be buried next to her mom, Whitney Houston. Noticeably absent was Bobbi’s boyfriend and rumored fiance, Nick Gordon, who was banned by her family after numerous attempts to be invited.

Bobbi was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31. After fighting for her life for seven months, she passed away on July 26. Bobby released this very emotional statement on the day she died: “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
