OUCH!!! Rapper Busta Rhymes Falls Off Stage and Bursts His Head | Photos
Rapper Busta Rhymes fell off a stage while performing with his protégé, hip-hop artist O.T. Genasis at Webster Hall in New York early on Friday. Busta suffered a nasty-looking injury on his head, but he insists he’s fine.
That same afternoon, Busta Rhymes posted a video of the incident on Instagram and Facebook. The 42-year-old hip-hop star moves his head to the beat while holding what appears to be a liquor bottle and waving a cigar, then tumbles head-first into the crowd.

Several people helped the rapper, who is seen with blood dripping down his head. He later tweeted an update about his condition, saying he is “super good.” Busta had tumbled off the stage while he and O.T. Genasis, (who is signed to his Conglomerate record label) performed Genasis’ new hit song, “CoCo.”
Busta Rhymes said: “This is what happen when #THECONGLOMERATE money starts changing and when we got the hottest record in the country Congrats 2 O.T.@GENASISISHERE #Coco on Itunes now!!!”
He then went on to joke: “YO Wiz Khalifa I THINK MY STAGE DIVE WAS BETTER THAN YOURS. LMFAO,” referring to the time Wiz Khalifa tripped onstage while performing at a concert in Boston in 2010. (Wiz recovered within seconds).
“I salute all calls from family and friends makin’ sure I’m good,” he said on Twitter. “Just 4 the record I’m super good! When u love what you u do and ur passionate about winning u go hard! We done fell off stages and broke limbs while performing and kept going. We stay on level 10…we always will be on 10!! We just took 1 step 2 far off the stage and that was it! S–t happens but I love it cause we live it!”
