Panel Beater Beats LAGBUS Staff To Coma In Lagos

A panel beater has been handed over to the police for allegedly punching a staff of LAGBUS (Lagos State government-owned high capacity commuter bus) unconscious at Idiroko area of Ikorodu Road in Lagos.

The panel beater, identified as Sarafa Rasak, 26, was alleged to have beaten Oladele Oluwatobi, a sales representative and ticketer attached to LAGBUS Asset Management Limited over a disagreement.

The LAGBUS staff, whose nose was broken in the attack, was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit at Old Tollgate, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

According to Rasak, an argument began when the bus refused to stop at Anthony. He said he did not beat Oluwatobi, but that he tripped and fell.

Rasak was arrested and brought to LAGBUS office, from where he was handed over to the police.
