However, McDowell, a whisky brand in Nigeria has brought together the two artistes in a historic tribute to the spirit of friendship at the Friendship Jam held at the Grandeur Events Centre.
McDowell's No. 1 is synonymous with the spirit of celebrating deep bonds of friendship. The brand has consistently followed this theme over the years.
According to the artistes, the story of their friendship continued despite their parting ways in 2011.
They said that the success and fame that came to them after 2002 as a duo is a treasured experience that they would cherish even as solo artistes.
"Our aim was to recreate history at the Friendship Jam and give a great time to all those brothers out there. When brothers are together, magic unfolds," they said.
KC and Presh, coined from Kingsley and Precious were the winners of the 2002 edition of a popular talent hunt programme, Star Quest. They went on to release five albums before going their separate ways in 2011. They currently have hits like Limpopo and International Lady to their individual credit.
